Martin Buck

International Schools Development Manager

A little bit about Martin:

With a background in successful research and development, Martin has extensive experience in bringing new, innovative and valued educational programmes and qualifications to the international marketplace.

For over 20 years, Martin has worked as a trainer, curriculum developer and senior academic manager in the UK and overseas.

He says, “I’m excited by the strong educational principles and ambition for our next generations of students which underpin the new English National Computing curriculum, and in turn these fantastic new Digi programmes from NCC Education.

“Being able to have a positive impact on the quality of education provided globally and life chances of students around the world is a huge privilege and immensely rewarding.

“I would like to see Digi programmes continuing to raise the profile of Computer Science within education globally and also inspiring students to go on to become the next generation of digital innovators in their countries.”

Martin is a father of two primary-age school boys, a Grade 8 trombonist, keen guitarist and mountain-climber (including Everest base camp). He enjoys reading biographies and likes the odd drop of Guinness!
